A lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow, causing the moon to be darkened. Such alignment occurs during an eclipse season, approximately every six months, during the full moon phase, when the Moon's orbital plane is closest to the plane of the Earth's orbit. Unlike a solar eclipse, which can only be viewed from a relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of Earth. A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes only into the Earth's penumbra.

Buddha birthday! (Wesak falls on May 5, 2023.)
To Buddhists, around the world, the most important day of the year is Wesak, a day set aside to honour not only the birth (circa 563 B.C.), but also the enlightenment (528 B.C.), and the Parinarvana of Guatama Buddha (483 B.C.). Wesak is the high point of the spiritual year. Legend speaks of a sacred ceremony in which the Buddha, the Christ and enlightened Beings at the heart of all faiths deliver a special blessing to the world. As we link with this event, a great channel of light is created that uplifts all life.
Dharma refers to law and custom, it is one of the four purposes of existence, as a quest for moral perfection. To follow the Dharma means to apply a law that puts us in harmony with the world, a concept that expresses order.
Dharma is the ideal justice made alive, it is the principle that sustains everything that is manifested.
Karma: As a human being, we do actions and the sequence of our actions or actions will give a state that we will know later. Every act causes a reaction in a logic of cause and effect. This chain of causalities, causes and effects, is Karma. A quote like “reap what you sow” can help us understand that.

A big choice for all of humanity now relates to how people are living together on the Earth, with one another and with other living things. It’s about how people are caring for the Earth, not only for now but for future generations to come.
It’s about people revisiting what is important to them as they make choices, respond to others, and set goals for the future.
