The Overton Window: Understanding the Mechanism of Manipulation

The term was devised by the late free-market advocate Joseph Overton, an executive at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, a conservative think tank in Michigan.

... the Overton Window can both shift and expand, either increasing or shrinking the

number of ideas politicians can support without unduly risking their electoral

support.

The Overton window is the range of policies politically acceptable to the mainstream population at a given time. It is also known as the window of discourse. In the early 1990s Overton described a spectrum from "more free" to "less free" with regard to government intervention, oriented vertically on an axis, to avoid comparison with the left/right political spectrum. As the spectrum moves or expands, an idea at a given location may become more or less politically acceptable.

The Overton window is an approach to identifying the ideas that define the spectrum of acceptability of governmental policies. It says politicians can act only within the acceptable range.

Why are we manipulated ?

By using this concept, the social engineering can make the unacceptable...acceptable It s a very subtle method of masses hypnosis with the help of the media. People at the top of the pyramid know that the ears and eyes, (specially the 3rd eye) are the gates of absorption of the information.

On behalf a mechanism of repetition, the fake infos come in our mind as true information. The 3rd eye cannot filter (discernment) so a false reality is accepted as real.

The Hollywood industry and his wide range of violence has made violence acceptable, maybe useful. Nowadays the media corporation venerates the transgender movement, wishing to make the transition (change of sex) acceptable for parents and children.

It is important to trust our senses. It is important to be in our body and not to live in our mind.

The Ajna chakra is also symbolized by the eye, which represents intuition, insight, and perception. The eye is often depicted as a triangle, with the apex pointing upwards, indicating the connection to the higher self and the divine. The Ajna chakra is said to be the seat of intuition, and is associated with the ability to see beyond the physical world and into the realm of the spiritual.
